upgrade TV to flatscreen

For an 03 dynasty with old style CRT TV in front, has anyone had new flatscreen TV installed and cabinets modified? Any suggestions? Where did you mount your receiver, dvd player afterwards?

thanks

MLH,
I left my cabinet "as is". With the new 32" Vizio mounted high up, that left a shelf (of sorts) under the TV .... to which I moved my Hughes DIRECTV receiver. I also have a unique over-the-air DVR which sits to the right of the Hughes....so the new "shelf" is completely used. Used Velcro to keep these devices in place.

On my last MH (2003 Bounder) I installed a 26" LCD in place of the old 27" CRT. I left the original cabinet as is and added a 1/2 plywood bulkhead across the opening about 6" into the cabinet. Then mounted the LCD TV to it. I painted the plywood flat black so it didn't show up. The project was fairly easy. My receiver and DVD player were in a separate cabinet and they were not effected.

I did this for a quick fix before I ran out of time. Later I will remove the old box and cut it down, or clean it up and use the space for DVD etc.
