upper deadbolt issues

Hi all , i'm having some issues with the upper deadbolt lock in the door 40' holiday rambler endeavor. The key goes in ok and turns left and right smoothly But there is no action on the bolt itself. would there be something broken in the door panel ?? (this lock is above the entry door handle, separate from the door handle)

Yes it is likely something has either broken or come loose inside the lock.

While I do not know your lock, likely you can easily disassemble and check The tricky part is in the cylinder and you do NOT take that apart unless the end of it is broke,, Depending on the lock there could be nothing more than a screw loose, and as you may know I'm fond of saying MANY RVers have a few screws loose, this one may take a #1 or #2 Phillips or a #2 Square depending on which scew/
