US Gear Pre Wire Location On 2007 Signature

I sold my 2004 Diplomat on which I had installed a US Gear Unified Tow Brake. I kept the TC-6000 control box and want to install it on the 2007 Signature Commander I just purchased. The 07 Sig is suppose to be prewired for the US Gear Brake System but I can't seem to locate the wiring harness and connector installed by Monaco to plug the TC-6000 connector into. I have had numerous contacts with Monaco tech support and there seems to be "several" locations where this connector might be stowed. Can anyone out there help be locate the "pre wired" connector and wiring installed by Monaco?

You probably are already aware of what US gear says about the location of the harness.

I had the same issue with Monaco. I ended up buying a sniffer and connected it to the 7 pin 'brake' wire at the hitch and sniffed out the other end (connector). Mine was also under the shift console near the bottom.

In our 06, It was rolled up in a complete bundle of white wires clear into the corner under the A pillar. It took some searching, but I did finally locate it. Hope this may help. Happy Trails Bert

In our 08 Safari, it was in the driver's left hand console directly under the Allison shift panel. It had a green protective cover on it, which made it a little easier to find.

With our 13 Phaeton, it was under the dash above the steering wheel column mounting bracket....very difficult to find and connect to.

Good luck

Ron
