I've got a fiberglass roof on my Windsor, it's supposed to be a '99 but a lot of components are from '98, and it still has the mechanical cummins engine rather than the ISC (although quite a few of the charts in the fuse boxes refer to ISC) components so it looks like 98/99 is definitely the switch over point.

When we were shopping, I didn't even consider the Diplomat because of the rear radiator. I also noticed some of the Dynasty's were priced lower than Windsors.

I thought Monaco switched from the Cummins C8.3 mechanical to the electronically controlled ISC in 1998.

Well mine has a fibreglass roof and a C8.3 so who knows. It was Canadian spec as far as I can tell and may, I think, always have been intended for export to the UK so it's a little weird.

They are all good coaches, but definitely different levels of quality. All are on the RR8R and RR8S chassis. 8r being rear radiator, 8s being side radiator
I have the machine in sig. Only thing I would kind of question on that would be windshield aspect. Windsors (at least in 2003) were one piece glass. My scepter is a split windshield. Lovin my Monaco/HR snowflake ;-)

We are considering selling our 02 Windsor in Spring
if you are still looking. It is fully loaded (including Aquahot)
all service records, 350 cummins.
Canadian owned snowbirders just heading south now.

We just finished a 8000 miles trip in our 03 Windsor-- not a single problem, only wish I had 4 slide instead of 2

We have a 2004 40' Windsor. I think a side radiator should be on your must have list. Easy access to the engine. We have four slides, but could live with three. Aquahot is another must for us. You can stand in the shower all day and never run out of hot water. Because it runs off diesel, I don't have to chase after propane but once a year, if then, for the frig and cook top. If I were looking, I would be looking for a Windsor. We are very pleased with ours.

We have the 2004 Windsor with four slides and Aquahot. I love this coach plenty of power out of the 400ISL and fun to drive.

As we all seem to be bragging about our high quality Windsor’s I’ll throw in my 2 cents.
We found our first MH 16 months ago when we walked into a well cared for 36 PST (3 slide) Windsor and kept looking at the quality and finish. The DW liked what she saw, and I liked what I saw. (400 ISL and side radiator)
A little more of our personal TLC and we’ve been very happy.
Looking forward to retirement down the road when we leave for several weeks at a time!
Tracy
