Vented Washer/Dryer for Windsor?
I have a 2004 Windsor PDQ, only have room for a combined washer and dryer. There is a power panel above the cabinet that contains the rough in plumbing, so a stacked unit is out of the picture.
I would really like to go to a vented type, however I am concerned on where to cut a vent hole. There is a label inside the cupboard that is not very clear as to where a stub is located if any. Any advice and if you have a PDQ layout a photo of where you cut the vent would be greatly appreciated!

Can you provide any photos? I don't have a stub that I can tell.
And what brand wd are you using and would you purchase it again?
Thanks!
Bill

I got the unvented combo simply because I didn't want to go to the bother of running a dryer vent. When I was investigating it, I considered running down through the floor and under the rig.

What brand of Washer/Dryer did you buy, how long have you used it, and are you happy with it?

The best way to know is to park your coach outside over night and look at the condensation pattern near where the vent will go. The framing underneath will have a different percentage of condensation and you can mark the spot with a felt tip or tape. Drill a pilot hole first to make sure you have the desired spot. Using a hole saw drill slowly for the inside and stop just as the saw penetrates the wall. Remove the section of material and inspect to make sure there are now wires in the way. If so move them aside. Next use the hole saw from the outside to finish the hole.

We have the Splendide® 7100XC Washer-Dryer Combo.
Pluses: Washes and dries automatically. Relatively quiet.
Minuses: Small, so small loads. Slightly slower drying.
It does get stuff dry, it is slower I'm sure than a vented dryer, but not enough to cause me major problems. Run your generator and you can wash a load while driving.
