Voyager Monitor Locks Up

Has anyone else experienced this with their Voyager monitor? I have my monitor set to show me the Rear and Side camera views when traveling, don't use the GPS. But On our way home from Oregon the monitor started switching back and forth between the 3 camera view and then to GPS mode full screen. Once it started doing that I couldn't turn it off or change anything on the monitor. When I turned the coach off and started it the next day everything was ok for about 5 minutes and then back locked on the GPS screen. This morning, we are now home, I turned the ignition on without starting engine and the monitor worked without any issues. Anyone had similar problems with their monitor? Is the monitor dying? Planning to unplug the GPS from the monitor if it happens again plus unplug everything and replug wiring to monitor.

Well tomorrow is the test to see if my electrical gremlin is still with us. I did disconnect the GPS to see if the cameras on the system continued to function and they did. Re-plugged everything and will see what happens on our short trip tomorrow. If it acts up again will disconnect GPS and then see what happens when I drive it.

There were some issues with the control cables. I bought a new one and that did not fix the problem. Fortunately my one use of my extended warranty covered most of the new one.

YC1: Just curious as to what kind of issues were you experiencing? Anything like what I'm having?

My monitor would switch by itself to the 4th camera position which does not have a camera. The factory suggested changing the cable but that did not solve the issue.

My extended warranty covered most of the cost.

YC1: So did they ultimately have to change out the monitor?

Email the company. They are great. Told me what to do to fix it (disconnect white wires) and sent me a new wiring harness.

Monitor worked great on 70 mile trip to Sonoma so maybe unplugging and replugging it back in was all I needed to do.
