My 05 Exec was the Guinea Pig for the first Watts Link install on a RR10RS Tag Axle Chassis. I have pictures that document the installation and also CAD drawings of all the parts needed including the 3.1" vertical support that has to be installed on the rear of the generator vertical braces.. The Exec RR10RS chassis is the same chassis as yours as the Exec and Signature were built on the same chassis. I will have to find these files as I archived them when I sold the Exec. Send me an email address and I will send them to you when I find them.

The ONLY way to lower the “center of gravity” is to move things from up top to the basements... lower the position of the weight.

I had similar issues w/ our 1983 30ft. Pace Arrow..I am in the process of restoring it. Steering wander, & even mild crosswind would effect it..I had the alignment done w/ little change. I am now in the process of replacing the F & R air bags..(It had none)..And installing a Roadmaster Reflex steering dampner system on it.As well as Supersteer Bell cranks, New sway bar bushings, and new gas shocks,,I have about $1,000 in the steering / suspension systems, however, the difference should be dramatic, ( I hope) I will know very soon & can let you know if it cures my issues..I purchased the MH for next to nothing, so I expected to spend some bucks to make it right. Hopefully, it was money well spent..Might help yours as well..

He likely meant say the roll center was lowered. I don’t know if that is true, but it would be affected.

You are correct. I should have used a different way of explaining what I meant. I have had enough physics to know that without actually moving weight you cannot change the true center of gravity. What you get is a sensation that the center of gravity is lower. The coach corners with less roll and gives you increased confidence as you take turns.

Adding F/R crossbars and/or Watts links give the "feeling" that the coach "rolls and wallows" less in curves...the result many folks expected from expensive anti-sway bars, but were disappointed when applied to coaches with a Roadmaster chassis. If you've not experienced it...well, "ya don't know what ya don't know."
Whether it is the result of lowered "roll center" or some other factor, the result is unequivocally positive. That was an unintended consequence of the crossbars and Watts links I made. I simply wanted to tame a "road-wild" beast that required constant corrections to keep it in its lane.

Watts Link is installed, it will be a few weeks before a long trip to see the results. I must be slow, it took a lot longer than 2.5 hours as suggested and I used air tools.. My vertical piece is also 8" above the bottom of the bulkhead just like yours. Monaco conveniently put a blob of weld on it which had to be ground off. The front mounted A/C condenser was not a factor although that may be part of the reason it took longer since access was limited by it.
Mike Hughes has done a good job with the parts.

Good deal. Oddly, I had a chunk of slag I had to grind off too. Enjoy the road test and let us know how that goes as well.

New Travels
Wandering Family,
I wanted to put the information on the two threads I am most active in, before someone sees the ad and call me out .
My wife and I have decided to sell our wonderful motorhome after 7.5 years, not to leave this fantastic irv2 family but to build and expedition vehicle so we can increase our traveling capability.
I plan on remaining very involved in the Monaco community. I will even continue to carry my TRW adjusting tools with me, just in case someone I meet needs a 1/4 turn.
My hats off to EVERYONE along the way who contributed to the threads and made amazing improvements in the way our coaches handle and drive. I know our coach would have been on the market LONG AGO if it was not for all our our combined efforts.
I know this is a crazy time in the world we live in but this has been our plan for the last year and we are going to see how it plays out. Stay Safe!
Fingers Crossed and Cheers,
Craig

Best of luck Craig and Angie, It's been fun.
So.... what kind of "expedition vehicle"?

Brother we will miss you but know with your welding skills and many other talents you will build a fantastic off road RV. Guess this is going to happen in your airplane hanger?

I hope you start a thread to show your progress on the vehicle.
It has been such a pleasure meeting you and even working with you just a tiny bit.
So I guess "you been there, did that, got the tee shirt" and now are moving to a new adventure. My drawers are filled with those tee shirts. Built a plane the last round. What adventures we have enjoyed.
Stay safe.
