Water filter O Ring

I have the Waterguard by Shurflo water filter. It has a 3/32 cross section O ring. Every replacement I have been able to find is 1/8”. I can not find a replacement. Any body have a part number for a replacement? The part number from the website is not available.

I have a Shurflo all house water filter, with 10" cartridge. I don't think it would matter if you used the 1/8 o-ring vrs the 3/32. Mine just screws up snug, doesn't need to really be super tight to seal.

I purchase my filters from the online water filter store. They may have the exact o-ring you need, but you can call them, or email them to find out. They are very knowledgeable!

I tend to agree with MFL that a 1/8" would probably accomplish an adequate seal.

But these are the ones I used on the 10" Waterguard I had at one time -- Shurflo part #94-178-09

94-178-09 Pentair Shurflo 10 Pack O-Ring Kit

The above is from RVPartsCountry and is $24.99 for a 10 pack.

But you may have a different model Shurflo Waterguard canister than I had so disregard if this doesn't apply.

edited to add: I don't see a way to order those at RVPartsCountry so I'm thinking they are temporarily out of stock.

Here are a couple of other online vendors:

Pentair Shurflo 94-178-09 O-Ring Kit

Shurflo 94-178-09 Shurflo Replacement O-Ring Kit

I purchased a 1/8 O Ring and it will not even fit in the grove. I am sure that the water pressure would push it out of place.

I will contact the companies and verify what size cross section is.
