Water heater bypass

Looking for one on my 02 Monaco. No mention in the owners manual.
Maybe it didn’t come with one.

I do believe not all have it installed, but a simple search brings these.

For MHs
Many times the water heater bypass is NOT located at water heater but inside a storage compartment
Some are on the water panel

If you have an on demand water heater there probably is no bypass. Mine doesn't have one. If it is a tank heater, it would be on the back of the unit. There should be a panel inside the motorhome that can be removed to access this area. You would find the valves there that would direct the water/anti-freeze accordingly.

My current coach, prior coach and before that travel trailer all have/had propane water heaters. In each RV, the "plumbing" at the water heater had heater isolation and by-pass valves. If your coach has a propane water heater with tank, it should have a by-pass located very near the tank.

This is an image of the typically plumbing, including by-pass valve, for a propane water heater. Hope this info helps!
