Water leak

Saturday I just finished installing a repaired fuel tank that I removed because of a fuel leak. Than I noticed a water leak under the hot water tank but it is coming from above the tank. Removed the hot water tank and for sure it was dripping from the forward corner where there is a hole for electrical line. The washing machine is just above this area. Removed the washing machine and there is a trough that has a black plastic drain line maybe two inches and hot and cold water lines. Very wet, so I sucked the water and had it very dry. It got wet when I ran my dehumidifier which drips water into the kitchen sink. How can it be possible for that drain line started to leaking? Without cutting the line you can’t get under it to feel where the water is coming from. Anyone experienced this problem?

Anyone experienced this problem?
No..... Can't say I have.
But hearing your description, your dehumidifier (near the kitchen sink?) is well removed from the washer's utilities connections (Hot, Cold, Waste). So I submit that your moisture is coming from one of those "sources". Right?

it appears to be coming from the sink drain

Is your kitchen sink cabinet in a slide?

It may be leaking at the flexible type hose that allows the drain to work in and out with the slide. There have been a number of posts on this happening. Depending how your cabinets are constructed will determine how easy it is to fix.

Found and fixed leak

Cracked 2 inch drain line from the kitchen sink. The crack was on the bottom of the line and the location was behind washing machine. The only way I could be sure it was the drain line was I put red food coloring in the sink and placed some white paper towels in the wet are and after a while they started to turn red. Had to cut it in 4 places and used the rubber couplers, one over the crack and where we had to cut the pipe to get it out.

That's good troubleshooting.
