Water leak

I've been chasing a water leak in my bathroom skylight for some time and I think I've found the source. I took the inner skylight piece off in the last rain storm and discovered that it was leaking in the passenger forward corner not the rear corner. Between the fiberglass and the skylight lip. Once everything dried out I took a cup of water up on the roof and poured it in the suspected spot and guess what it start to leak again. Put some self leveling Dicor down and rains expected Monday so we'll see.

When I get home plan to strip the layers of bubble gum the factory put down and reseal from bathroom skylight all the way to the front door plus around vent openings. So what does everyone use when resealing on their roof. I'm familiar with Dicor self leveling but is there something better?

I use Dicor exclusively.... never heard of anything better.

I use Eternabond tape anywhere that I can. In places where it's not feasible to use Eternabond, I use Dicor self leveling sealant.

I've used both the Eternabond and Dicor tape and Dicor lap sealant with excellent results.

Stripping the old Dicor and Eternabond tape is a difficult chore. I acquired an oscillating tool (mine is a Dremel) and used the scraper blade to remove the old stuff across the entire roof of our coach. The oscillating tool saved a lot of time and effort.

That was going to be my next question as to what's the fastest way to remove the old stuff. I have one of those oscillating tools, harbor freight special, and will give it a try. Any other suggestions?

Still leaking same spot. When I get home I'm going to strip all the sealer off and start fresh.
