I have water leaking from here when the water pump is on. It just started doing it today.

Defective, back check valve, and looks like there have been changes from OEM already, galvanized fitting wouldn't be stock.

Is the valve just above the connection?

Factory install it would be attached to a connection , like the black tank flush fitting beside it, whoever changed the plumbing may have relocated it ,
Can you check behind with a mirror?

From response I'm guessing pics are included in post........but I don't see any

I see pics in other posts but not this one ????

City water connection has a check valve as part of the assembly
Remove/Replace city water assembly

In mean time...get a 3/4" NPT PVC Plug and screw it into connection to stop leak so you can use water pump

On EDIT: Now see pic by going to OPs profile/then posts
Forget the PVC plug

You have what appears to be 'quick disconnect' assembly

I can do everything but eyeball it. There is a cover above it and one of the POs cut the panel below. There is a fitting above the quick connect so I'm assuming it's the back flow valve.

Back flow valve would be brass , about 2" long.

That's probably it. I just have to figure out what kind of fitting attaches it to the Pex.

Did you install the quick disconnect? If not this may have been an ongoing problem as that type disconnect frequently had a "cheap"check valve built into it. You could add another regular check valve between the galvanized coupling and the quick disconnect or get another disconnect with a builtin check valve. Multiple check valves usually will not affect the flow.

This is how it was when I bought the coach.

I took the water supply inlet apart and replaced the check valve. It was a mess of adapters and connectors that took a whole tool box to get out.

This is what I started with.

They came out one at a time and took different wrenches and sockets to remove.

This is what came out. I put it back but also ordered a new supply fitting with integrated check valve so I can get rid of this mess.

Interesting.

1) 1/2" check valve
2) 1/2" to 3/4" garden hose adapter
3) 3/4" garden hose to 3/4" pipe adapter
4) 3/4" pipe coupling
5) 3/4" pipe to 3/4" garden hose adapter
6) 3/4" garden hose quick-connect

Whoever hooked this up could have eliminated items 3), 4) and 5).

Definitely a Rube Goldberg type of repair. Part of the reason was probably to make it long enough to stick out the bottom of the panel

Not sure why you would not be able to replace all that with a
ball valve with a female hose fitting.

The valve would remain closed except when connected to city water when you would open it and close it again when you unhook.
Just a thought......Iver.
