Water Pressure Woes

Still working on our 2008 Camelot rebuild..when we connect our water to the rv, the faucets start out with poor to fair water pressure and then it just slows to a very weak stream. The rig water pump does not increase the pressure. In fact the pump will not pump up then kick off. It activates and makes noise and seems to pump.
Things we have tried: flushed the hose, by passed rig hose and the hose reel.
Do we need to back-flush it some way? did not see a check valve to prevent back flow, if there is one it is behind the plastic plate in the wet bay.
Has anyone encountered this, and what do you suggest we try?

Which faucets? Bathroom, Kitchen, outside shower?

You do know, that the bathroom and kitchen faucet have an aireator at the end of the faucet which injects air into the water stream so you don't get a hard stream of water, rather a soft stream. There is a screen inside that thing that can get gunked up with calcium build-up or just "gunk".

Unscrew the end of the faucets and clean them out. Better yet, just remove them and see if you have water flowing.

Check your city/fresh water valve. The seal goes bad and they allow the water to bypass right back to the tank.

Was the coach winterized? If so the pink stuff can harden in the plumbing somewhere. I have blown it out with an air compressor.

Is the plumbing lines original? Ours is not, someone added a reverse osmosis system and then removed it. In the meantime, they added a valve that is not factory, which was hard to figure out what was going on. The water was recirculating to the tank and we had no to very little water. Not sure what you have going on, but a pump, a water tank and a pressure tank is a simple design, get back to that first. We have no history of what went on with our water system but I'm in the process now of getting back to basic tank, pump and pressure tank with a water softener. My plumbing does not resemble the owners manual at all, very frustrating.

The pump will only take water from the tank. It won't boost shore water! If your using the pump, have plenty of water in the tank, and expect to run thru a few gallons on each faucet to bleed out the air.
The valve on the wet bay panel needs to be vertical, pointed at 'City water', until it's time to fill the tank.
