We stopped earlier today to walk the dog & use the "facilities". I turned on the pump and the light came on but no pump when opening the faucet. The tank was 2/3 full. Any deas short of changing out the pump?

Did it sound like the pump even tried to turn on? Did you hear any noise from the pump? If not may be a fuse or relay. If the pump made a noise like it was trying to pump then it could be that the screen filter on pump is clogged.

There was no noise from the pump, it just quit working. I'll check for fuses and relays when I get back home. Thanks for the advice.

Just a quick update...I fixed it...I'm so proud of myself I replaced a 15 amp fuse in the bedroom closet...took me awhile to find it. I now know where a bunch of other fuses are hiding.

Nutensteve...
The fastest way to have found that would to have called Monaco Tech Support. They probably could have told you exactly what fuse it was!

They helped me when my POS KingDome would not turn on to find a satellite. (That fuse is out in the outdoor fuse box!)
Doesn't feel great when you do it yourself!! Good Job!!

Steve... I will admit.. I did try to figure it out myself.. by READING all the stuff I had... trouble-shot as best I could... and then knew to call Monaco Tech to find out where the fuse might be...
They were great... I had the satellite up and running within 5 minutes of the call...

nutensteve......if that pump ever does go bad, the Flojet Sensor VSD or similar Shurflo are really nice. They produce higher pressures, are quieter and smoother.

Last summer we were leaving a campground below Yellowstone and had to travel over a section of highway that was under construction. It had poured the night before and made a mud bog out of the road. Even with keeping speeds down to 5 mph for a mile, the bottom of the coach was covered in mud and triggered my ATC and ABS lights.

I was able to attach a garden hose and spray nozzle to my pump and wash down the undercarriage so the lights would reset.

Our friends were pretty impressed when we washed off their truck too. Thought I would share a side benefit of the pump. I keep the stock one as a spare.

Don...Great idea I might just pick up an extra pump. We don't do much dry camping but even on the road you really get used to that toilet....I did learn to keep a couple bottles of flush water handy just in case.

MM...I always knew you could fix the satellite...Do you make service calls?
