Water Pump Indicator Light Frequent Failure

Over the years those red indicator lights next to the water pump switches have failed several times and I keep replacing them.
There are four on my '01 Exec and it's been a PITA.
Four new ones arrived today and two of them appeared to be DOA.
The packaging looked identical to previous replacements except for one tiny detail: "LED."

I knew that meant they were polarized and looking very carefully at the very tiny markings near the pins, I found + and - signs.

So...when you replace these if they don't work, reverse the polarity.
Mine came from RV Parts Country as ordered through Amazon.

PS: The indicator light are on four-gang switch plates on my coach. Wires can and do pop off. Suggest taking a picture with your phone to ensure red, white, purple, purple with white stripe all go to the right pin.

I replaced all mine years ago with LED lamps. Just have to make sure which one you're buying up front. Never had any stop working. I've replaced all my indicators with LEDs. Best way to go and a lot more reliable.

Tore my lights apart years ago to install led's. Since you have them pre-built you are luck and your light failures should be long gone.
