Water Pump Issue

We have a LaPalma 34PDB gas model. Bought it in August. Have always been on RV park water since bought. Today the park water service went down. Will be off all night. I have filled the fresh water tank and turned the water pump on and the pump runs but there's no water being delivered tro the faucets or toilet. I can't find anything to else to turn on so we can get water. Am I missing something?

Without the pump on go outside to the wet bay valves and turn the valve off city water. Then turn the pump back on.

Tried and no luck. Pump runs but doesn't deliver water.

Do you have a valve on pump suction line (between tank and pump)?
YES....is it Open

Check the pump inlet strainer and the pump casing
Strainer could be dirty, O-ring dried out
Pump casing cracked sucking air

Pump should self prime...turn pump on with a faucet open to bleed air out/prime pump

Still no water.........pump could be bad
2003 and not used very often.

Can't get photo to upload. We have several gallon jugs of water. We're OK until water comes back on in the am.
Thanks

Did you get it to work?

Sometimes I have to open a winterizing drain and connect a hose to push water in to fill the void in the hose. The pump just keeps trying to suck air for some reason.

I have not had the issue in years though and it was a real tough one to sort out.

Of course you didn't have shore water to do that.

They put the pumps in places you often cannot see of course but a camera might help look for any water lines that have air in them. A loose connection on the input to the pump might allow air to be sucked in and not pull the water through.
