water pump replacement

I recently replaced my OEM water pump in my 2011 Monaco Vesta. It was not inexpensive but it seems to be the loudest, most obnoxious pump I've ever heard! I really need to pull it out and toss it in the trash! Can anyone give me a recommendation on a quiet replacement pump that maintains good pressure? I really need to change it out again! Thanks in advance. Eric

I don't know what water pressure requirements you had have for your coach, but for my Class C I put Shurflo 4008 in a little over a year ago, and it is much quieter than the original Shurflo 2088.

How you mount and plumb the pump can make the noise better or worse. Use soft mounting (even suspending, as I did) on a rigid, not-drum-like surface for the former, and flexible tubing on the inlet and outlet for the latter.

I replaced a ShurFlo 2088 with a Pentair (ShurFlo) 4008 when the old pump refused to prime. It turns out the pump was OK- the problem was with yours truly. I kept the 2088 as a spare.
