Well, we really wanted to get the Diplomat 40SKQ models I asked so many questions about, BUT it didn't happen. Actually, once the units exceeded 40' it became a "legal" issue. In California the State has declared certain roads "restricted" for RVs/busses because engineering studies show the roads have problems for longer rigs. Two of the routes are how we get to our stick house off Highways 49 and 193.

So, we found a 2007 "new" (never licensed) 39'10" Itasca Horizon 40TD that was a repo from an Ohio RV dealership that filed for bankruptcy. Weather permitting (we're expecting snow for the next several days) we'll go to De Martini's lot in Grass Valley and spend the night in the coach before taking delivery. For those interested in seeing this front kitchen model I've posted photos at my Picasa website.

We will be posting our 2006 Monarch SE 33PBD in the classified sections tomorrow.

I won't be leaving the iRV2 Forum, just switching "membership" over to the Win/Itasca owner's forum. Monica Mama has already scolded me but said I can still hang around and continue posting. Will Do. Hope to see you guys in Q.

Certainlly. Over on the Win/Itasca forum I asked if I could keep both labels since we own TWO RVs now.

Cooljudy, Your new coach looks so nice. We hope that you can give us all a tour at Quartzsite. As for switching groups, you'll find good friends as we have anywhere that IRV2 people gather.

Congrats Judy. We were very happy with our Horizon before we traded for our Dip. Hope you are as happy as we were. It looks beautiful.

Aloha,

Gee

CoolJudy,
Congratulations, the new coach looks great! I believe you'll love your new Winnebago and the members on the Winnebago forum are as helpful and friendly as this group. In case you are not aware, they have a live chat room on iRV2 every Tuesday from 9:00pm to 10:00pm Eastern time. Check it out.
