We have a 2006 Diplomat 40PDQ which we purchased a year ago last month. There are two labels on the roof, one ahead of the front AC which I understand is where Monaco claims you can find the cables for a satellite dish. The second one on our coach is located just behind the shower skylight and the print is completely faded out. Does anyone know what this label refers to or said?

I think it says something like "Cut here for solar panel cable", however I have heard from some solar techs that the lable is stuck on the roof at a position that is determined by a random number generator that Monaco picked up at a slot machine salvage shop in Reno.

Nodine,
Realistically, the words do stand for the solar panel wire installation. I have a 2006 Endeavor PDQ(HR cousin to the Diplomat) and this is where the solar panel wire(s) is/are "supposed" to be connected.
Whether it is or not, well, it is going to be awhile before we can afford solar panels, as they take quite a few years before they pay for themselves. And there is little info in the manual as to the exact location.
Cheers....and happy rving.

Thanks Chef Guy and Lukeaa, I was just curious and would never expect the solar wires to be there.

I like the one back by the ladder on mine. I nearly fell off the ladder laughing the first time I read it. It says, " Maximum load 350 pounds person while vehicle is in motion" I want to climb up there going down the road since I'm under that but Cat won't let me!
OR a few years back, I used to work on jet skis and on the sticker on the back of certain Yamahas that said " DO NOT AIM jet nozzle into any body orifice while engine is running or serious bodily injury may occur!"

The label at the top of my ladder says 150 lbs maximum load while in motion. I took that to mean it was not advised to carry more than 150 lbs on the ladder while traveling down the road. The vertical motion from uneven roadways will multiply the force on the ladder induced by carrying cargo and could cause metal or attachment fatigue leading to failure. I have seen people tie all kinds of things to the ladder for travel.
