When traveling with wife and friends a couple of years ago in Scotland we wanted to sample the best of the local beers. We carefully observed what the locals were drinking in the bar. Most of them were ordering - Budweizer!

I don't understand buying the receiver. You must subscribe to the service or the receiver is worthless. If you subscribe to the service, they give you the receiver. Am I missing a part of the puzzle or paying for something I don't need??

Jim,
I purchased the DTV Sat receiver from Best Buy, who sells DTV products. And yes, we added the extra receiver onto our existing account for $5/mo.

We also added an RF feature to the Sat receiver remote with a Remote Extender made by Next Generation, which allows us to operate it from the bedroom and leave the cabinet door closed where the receiver is located.

CC,

Thanks for the info. That sounds like a piece of equipment I just have to have (among the many others). I've been having to leave the cabinet door open over the front passenger seat to change channels. When I do that, it becomes a "head knocker" like the front TV. A Remote Extender would solve a couple of problems. Looks like I'll be paying Best Buy a visit.
