What does this mean?

just purchased a Monaco cayman 36PDD. Where can I find out what the PDD is? I think it means the options but where can I find out what they are?

It has to do with the floorplan, not the options. Here is a 2006 brochure page...

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! Tell us what year this is and someone will probably have that info. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

it's just the model. Nothing to do with options. However, I believe the last letter is the number of slides. So your last "D" means double slides. A "T" would be triple slide and "Q" would be quad slides.

Contact Monaco Customer Service ( 877-466-6226 ) and give them your Vin # and/or your serial #. Depending on the age of your MH they may be able to send you a copy of the build sheet for your MH.

Isn't the first P for pass through bath as opposed to S for Side Bath?

It could be. This conversation went on a few years ago and someone always came back with the exception to the rule. I finally gave up trying to follow the logic.

Sometimes I think monaco used the alphabet on a dart board when it was time to pick those 1st 2 letters.

Like Bill said, the only letter that seems to be consistantly correct is the third letter, which seems to relate to the number of slides.
We hashed this out a couple of years ago, and every time we thought we had the first or second letter solved, someone would come along with a coach model that didn't work with our theory !

The experts here will enlighten you on 36PDD they are remarkable .

IMO the next thing you need to try and hunt down is the " Data Card " this card is the "Rosetta Stone" as to how your coach was equipped every piece of equipment and accessory installed from the factory from the microwave to the doorbell and everything in between.

Keep in mind that no two coaches are built the same and the Data Card saves you lots of time and aggravation when trying to work on your coach.

When I got my data card for my HR it was free from Monoco, I called them and they emailed it to me free of charge.

That said now that the REV group has bought them out.... there is no telling all you can do is contact them

But you may have one in your coach.....like in the closet, they look like this

Ask Monaco for the "Build Sheet". It has more detailed information on it. I keep my build sheet on my computer and add to it when I learn something new about the rig. You will need to have the VIN number when you call.
