What is it called?

Storage bay door latch slides into a loop attached to the side of the coach...what is that loop called?

I have several broken on my 2000 Dip 38A and cannot find them to order....

Thanks in advance...

A picture would help. On mine (Holiday Rambler) the "loop" is a squared "C" shape with threaded ends. If I needed one I would probably get some threaded steel rod and shape it. A piece of tubing over the center threads will keep the latch from wearing.

This is what mine looks like (1997 vintage). Bottom center of pic ... bracket goes thru 2 slotted holes ... nuts on front and back to set depth.

Good find! I was also going to say that a lot of people call it just a plain "strike" but I see you already had good results.

The good news is I don't need any .... no idea where the OP went . Apparently another "test".
