A jacks down indication can do it. I have an alarm on my antennas too.

I occasionally get the jacks down alarm when releasing the brakes and I have learned to ignore it. When the alarm comes on the jack pad flashes so no confusion what the alarm belongs to. Also occasionally ( maybe once every 2 thousand miles) it will alarm while driving.

Below the parking brake switch is a sensor. The senor is made by:

Nason Distributors

Nason will not sell direct to you below is a list that will.

Cross Company 866-219-8217
Sunsource 800-228-5800
Flow Dynamics 205-581-1200
Hydraulic Energy Products 800-800-3471
Fluid Power Equipment Co., 877-471-8999

This is a common failure and easy fix. The last known Part # SM-1C 66R/WP28.

Call Allied Group and give them your coach number to confirm part number.

I had an Alarm on my Newmar that was giving me fits. The air system was aired up, the Jacks were in travel mode, the transmission was shifting properly. I called Newmar and they asked if I had swiveled the Captains chair. I had...so I restowed it again in the driving position...I guess the footrest wasn't 100% stowed...and they have an alarm on it.

What is the purpose of this Nason switch, please? What is the issue that it is trying to warn us about?

Thank you.

Nason Switch

Nason switch mounts below the parking brake switch. I am uncertain why it is used but I know when it fails what happens.

It maybe used to monitor air pressure when parking brake is released to prevent false alarms of sudden air pressure changes.

When releasing the park brake switch and placing the coach into reverse or drive the alarm will go off. Take your foot off the brake and re-apply the brake and or switching the shift pad from reverse to neutral and then to drive the alarm shuts off.

On my 2004 Endeavor I am on the third switch since new.
