What is this?

That would be the pump water strainer. You could start there and also clean each strainer at each sink faucet thats what I have done in my coach

That is the water pump Inlet screen. According to my manual, it should be cleaned bi-monthly.

Thanks everyone.....I hoped that it might be something like that. It probably has NEVER been cleaned. I did clean all the internal screens with CLR and replaced my kitchen 1 hole faucet with a new Moen ss faucet.

I'll clean it out tomorrow and let you know the results.

I took it apart and found NO obstruction....clean as a whistle. But, I also learned that the filter is ONLY used when running the inboard water pump. When hooked to shore water the filter is bypassed. I still have a water pressure problem and I'm getting more convinced that it is the water pressure regulator....I just have to find that sucker....

If you have a pressure problem on both shore and on-board pump I would look for a whole house filter.

Take off the hose and look in the hose connection. Some have screens right in them.
