What is this bracket inside the entry door of my 2008 Beaver?

It looks like it might have a wire going to it. Maybe a security system of some sort? It is in the upper left corner of the door as you enter the coach. One of the rare earth magnets came unglued also. Just wondering if this is OEM.

I don't have those on mine. Maybe a magnetic mount for inside sun shades?

Mine has one just like it, but I never noticed any wires going to it. I just thought it was to keep the top of the screen door from rattling with the magnets. I'd go look at it but it's not here right now. I'd be happy to look when I can.

I wonder if it may be some kind of switch for the inflating door seal?

I stand corrected. I think mine does actually have that (I was looking on a phone this morning instead of a computer). Not here for me to lok at unfortunately.

It appears to sort of float around. It's not a solid attachment (unless I have a broken mount of some sort) and it does attach itself to the screen door when closed.

I wonder if it is an 'auxiliary' screen door closure? Maybe to keep it from rattling while under way>

Speaking of the door bulb seal; and I don't mean o hijack the thread; what turns that on and off? I have hard a super hard time opening the door at times. I think it is the seal being still inflated.

You might be right about the screen door de-rattler.

I hear my seal inflate but I can't tell if it is putting it in gear, releasing the brake or going into travel mode that inflates the seal.

With our rig the door seal seems to inflate when in gear. When we get ready to leave a spot my wife stays outside to check if the jeep is setup correctly. We've found that once she gets back inside if I've left the coach in gear she has a hard time closing the door. Once I put into neutral is closes easily. I think I might have read that in the manual also, it works for us.

Mine (2), are attached to inside screen door and stick to door jam when door is closed. looks to me like its an aid to having the screendoor or both doors close easier. no wires anywhere to be found and also no magnets at the bottom corner.

entry door seal info
from manual

Air Seal

The entry door is equipped with a one-piece
air seal to reduce wind and road noise.
The seal automatically inflates when the
engine is running and the transmission
shift selector is placed in Drive.
The entry door seal will inflate to
approximately 3 to 4 psi.
The pressure regulator control valve is
located behind the front cap on the curb
side of the generator.
When the transmission is placed in
neutral, the entry door seal will deflate.

CAUTION:
If the pressure regulator should require
adjustment, do not exceed 5 psi.
Damage to the seal may occur.

Strange - I don't see that anywhere in the online manual. It's probably right in front of me and I didn't see it!...
