What is this fitting near my hitch? (pics)

I have what looks like a small “quick disconnect” fitting at the rear of our motorhome just above the hitch receiver. It has a black ¼” tube attached to it, as well as a single wire. I would guess this has something to do with towing a toad, but I am not sure?

There is also a small rubber cap over it, but I removed it for these pictures. It is not a standard air quick connect, as it is much smaller. It may also be a fluid fitting and not an air fitting at all?

Sorry about the picture quality, but if anyone knows what this is I sure would like to know.

Thanks!

It is a air fitting for toad brakes like a Air Force one.

Trace the hose or line underneath the coach. Looks like an airline for toad brakes like you said. Does not look like my air fitting for air force one toad brakes.

Krash,

That QC connection is the service air line for a Roadmaster brake system for a towed vehicle, the wire is for a small led lite that comes on when the towed vehicles brakes are actuated by the Roadmaster system. In your coach probably on your you should have a small led lite that you can't figure out what its for.
The 1/4" air line on your coach should be connected to a service brake valve or to a brake can.
Just installed that system on my Patriot Thunder and Honda CRV.

Yep, I checked Air Force website and didn't see anything like it. I was hoping someone might know the exact system it goes with. Maybe someone still will?

WOW! Someone just did!

Thanks

Could be M&G's system. We had that on a previous coach for the toad system. I don't recall any details about the fitting details, as that was 10 years ago.

This is the correct answer. We have the same system.
