What's this tank?
I'm looking at pics of an '04 Windsor and I can't figure out what the tank to the left of the propane tank is in the attached picture. Can anyone tell me what it is? Sorry for the noob question!

Undo the cap and take a smell..But I suspect it is a fuel tank....or is the PO's idea for an additional fresh water tank

Sure does look like a fuel tank
I would think for on-board generator
Remove cap and smell.
Check where line coming out of tank goes

Many coaches of your vintage and size have fuel tanks that go the entire width of the coach, which is a great thing for weight distribution management. Our '06 Dynasty is built that way. I really suspect that is the driver's side end and fill tube of your diesel fuel tank. You can typically fuel those from either side, or even from both, if you choose.
Enjoy your new coach!

Thanks all. Fuel tank makes sense, I just didn't realize they were that exposed in the basement in this model/year.
I haven't bought this particular coach yet, but it's on our short list. Couldn't ask the owner because he's currently out of touch on vacation in his other Monaco.

Where is that on the coach? It looks a lot like the hydraulic tank in my coach. Mine has fluid for the power steering and radiator fan. On my coach it is on passenger side all the way aft. My propane tank is fwd on the driver's side.

That's your fuel tank. You can access it from both sides of the coach. mine is about 130 gallons. I also store my ladder and my extra sewer drain hose above the propane tank.
From your picture, the outside door swings up. Mine swings horizontally.

It is nice. It's about 50/50 which side I fill up on.

I have a dual fill but I have never even used the passenger side. Primarily cause I keep my additive stuff on the drivers side. Only thing I would change about my tank would be to make it hold more fuel. 150 Gallons would be great or even 200. Make my life easier...lol.
And to the OP that's definitely a fuel tank.

That's identical to my 04 Imperial. It's the fuel tank fer sure. Mine fill from either side. I select which side determined by the way the coach is leaning. Just for kicks once I had a lean to the passenger side so I filled from that side.
Then I went to the high side and continued. Got almost 15 more gals in it.

I have had the same experience filling the diesel tank when the the fuel station has a slope to it. It can easily be a 15 gallon difference from filling on the "high side" versus the "low side" of the leaning coach.
The variance will impact fuel mileage calculations if your not paying close attention to how full your tank really is at each fill up.
I had my coach for a few years and didn't realize how much more fuel could be added when fueling on the uphill side of the tank until we were on a trip and found out by accident. Until that point the fuel gauge had only registered "7/8 FULL" after filling up. After filling up at a station with a significant slope, the fuel gauge registered absolutely "FULL" for the first time! That was an ah ha moment for me.
