Where are Battery wires for Solar Panel on 01 Windsor

I want to install solar panels on our 01 Windsor 38 PBDD. There are 4 10 guage wires in the cabinet behind the inverter and switch control panels. I'm sure they are for the solar. There is a solar panel junction box under the frig vent on the roof with 2 wires to it. My questions is, where are the wires hidden to the batteries? I've looked in the battery box compartment and the electrical compartment next to them and don't find them.

Rick

Hello - I have an 02 Windsor (built in mid 01). In my case there are 5 8AWG wires behind the inverter panel - red, black, orange, yellow & white.

The red + & black - go to the refrigerator roof vent to attach to the panels
The yellow & orange go to the rear electrical compartment on the curb side; the yellow goes to the house batteries + and the orange to the chassis battery +; there are empty fuse holders
The white is the chassis/battery ground and is also in the rear electrical compartment.

Regards

Alan

My 04 Lapalma also has the panel connection wiring on the roof at the refridge vent.

Alan, Thanks, the wires were where you said they were in the rear compartment. Now I can install the system.

Thanks again,
Rick
