Where did my antfreeze go

Had our hydrohot 500 tuneful in January used it everyday until April when we drove home in a ice storm (had to get out of USA as my time was up). When we got home I went to turn on the hydrohot and found the
Low fluid light was on. I did not have enough fluid to fill the tank so had to winterize at midnight in a snowstorm. Still trying to warm up. Last week took the coach out of storage and had to add 3 gallons of antifreeze to fill the tank. Ran the hydrohot for 10 hours and did not loose any more fluid. Then fired up the motor and ran the motor and hydrohot for another 3 hours again no fluid lose. Only other thing was a new water pump on the engine in December

Can anyone explain where my 3 gallons of fluid went?

I had a cracked extension fitting on the back of the unit that finally went. It must have been leaking for years as I couldn't isolate the leak until it finally went.

There is a shell around the unit, my fitting cracked to allow it to flow inside the outer housing...into the insulation.

On my Aqua Hot there is a plastic boiler drain that empties outside .
Quite a number of people have had it crack or leak .
This may be the same fitting Captjake mentioned .
I think they usually replace it with a brass valve .
It seems losing 3 gals you would see some evidence though .

Google Roger Berke , he has a web site where you can get info , help
and parts .
