Where do I buy hydraulic filters?

I’m trying to buy the hydraulic filters that fit inside my hydraulic reservoir. I’ve seen lots of threads referring to part #84101B, but I can’t find the filter online.

Bill Willard posted this picture of them. Any help?

I just changed the filters in my reservoir last month. When I was looking most places said "Out of Stock", even the link to the Amazon filter states only 1 left.

I ended up buying from here https://shop.moderngroup.com/84101b-psr-element/ I ordered 6 to reduce proportional shipping cost, they were delivered in 3 days.

Paul, do you have a remote spin on filter as well?

My same yr Scepter came with one. I'd be surprised if your Dynasty didn't.

Well, I'm 'fairly' sure I only have a single (different part number) in the reservoir, then the large remote spin-on filter.
The reservoir on mine is shorter and larger dia than earlier models.

I do have both the spin on filter with gauge and the filters inside the reservoir tank. I replaced the spin on filter three years ago and gauge shows it’s still good. I suspect the three filters inside the tank have never been replaced.

Well, if you dive into the reservoir, report back your findings.

You may only have one filter in there, and it may be a different size than the reservoirs that take 3 stacked.

Hey Paul,

Ben's right. I'd verify you have those filters I referenced before you order. I don't have the spin on, so I may have given you bum information.

But I do have the 3 filters stacked in the hydro tank and the #'s I posted are correct for those.

I have NAPA 1637 in my notes. Got that number from somewhere, but don't take my word for it.
Like you, I've only replaced the spin-on, and haven't gotten around to popping the lid off the reservoir.

Getting those filters out of the reservoir is always fun. I started using those veterinarian gloves that go up over your shoulder.

I would dump the hyd fluid first. Even if I just planned on putting it back in the res after filter change.
