Which shocks for 2007 Diplomat

I am considering replacing the shocks on my 2007 Diplomat with 82,000 miles. I see lots of good things on Koni's yet my local service shop says they usually put on Bilsteins (sp?) with good feedback. I know the Koni's are more expensive that isnt really a factor in my decision. Also do you need to replace the front and rears or just fronts ok? Any thoughts?

Roger,

for what it’s worth I have put Koni’s on two different coaches including the one I have now and I love them. They have made a tremendous difference in the ride on both coaches. I’ve never installed Bilstiens but it seems many think they are a bit harsh on expansion joints etc.

I don’t know that I’d spend the money on high quality shocks on the rear. I think the consensus might be that a Monroe on the drive axle would be plenty good.

Good luck!

Doug

A trusted member of this board, who's had all 3 brands on his coach, say's the Koni's work best on these chassis's.

Well there's another option!

How are they priced compared to the Koni's?

It was 3 years ago when I got them and many years ago on the koni so I really don’t remember I would just give them a call and they can get you the price.
