Whirlpool frig WRF560SMY01 questions

New to us ‘08 Camelot came with a (replacement) Whirlpool frig, but no details. So, a couple questions...

1) No info about whether it can be run on a MSW inverter that I could find anywhere (in manual, or online). Anyone know?
2) Can’t find anything about the capacity (size) of the unit, since it seems to no longer be made. Any idea how big it is, or how to decode the part number?

Home Depot and Lowe’s ( as did whirlpool website) drew a total blank so far.

Are you sure you have the model number correct? The Whirlpool site (where you can get the Owner's manual and see specs) doesn't recognize the number. Maybe you have a digit off. Are you copying the number from the tag inside the door or elsewhere in the fridge?

https://www.whirlpool.com/services/manuals.html

If you leave off the last two digits and Google the number , it comes up as a 19.7 cubic foot refrigerator. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Whirlpoo...SMYM/203628440 Does that look like it?

Generally if you coach had a LP refrigerator with an ice maker, and it was replaced with a residential style refrigerator, the outlet that the ice maker was plugged into will be enough power for fridge (the new models don't use a lot of power) and that outlet will be powered by you inverter.

My humblest thanks for opening my eyes (literally). Only excuse I can come up with is that I started working at my punch-list at 4:00 this morning and obviously wasn’t fully caffeinated that early.

I did leave out a ‘W’ after the SMY, but my tag does show a ‘01’ at the end Without the 01, I do get what looks like my frig indeed. Go figure why they have so many letters I do appreciate your assistance resolving this.

Still curious if the frig will be happy running off a MSW power. The Samsung in my endeavor was rated to work with MSW, but don’t see anything yes/no for this one. Guess we’ll find out

You need to find out about the MSW thing. I am not sure you can use it with MSW. A friend had problems with the defrost board. Replaced 3 times. He got fed up and replaced the fridge. I have that one bur have PSW.

Don't know if this helps but our Whirlpool ED20TQXFN01 refrigerator came as original equipment in our 16'ish year old coach and has run on the MSW inverter off and on since new.

FWIW

Thanks for the inputs. Talked to a Rv dealer service guy, and he said “all refrigerators these days will run on MSW”. I don’t believe that tho.

How’s that go again.... ‘ trust but verify’.

This link looks like it's that fridge. On the right side of the page, there are several manuals for it. Hope that's the right one for you.
