Wind noise windshield

2008 Monaco. Had new windshield installed a year ago and after we left camp ground this winter we are getting wind noise when we go down the road. Could I have pooped the seal loose at the top of the windshield. Looks seated but should I reseal at the top where the noise is coming from . thank you.

Double check that all of the side widows have the plastic clip in the drip holes. The front clip on my driver's side window had fallen off and it sounded like the noise was coming from the windshield. A $2.00 fix. Hope yours is the same.

I had the same problem and the 20 cent plastic covers fixed it. If you tape over the holes and drive it the speed you normally got the noise and the noise is gone that's the problem. Good luck!!

This got off track real fast. You said you had your windshield replaced and now you're hearing wind noise? I don't think it has anything to do with side windows. I just had my windshield replaced and the wind noise is much greater. I'm calling the installer back to see about getting it fixed. I'm thinking the protective molding is not flush to the body like it should be. I'm even getting a buzzing noise like a reed or harmonica type sound

Ya the noise is loud and it sounds like it is coming from the top of the drivers side windshield. I might have broken the seal when leveling the MH. If so do you think the windshield has to be removed to reset.

After owning our coach for 8 years we started getting a wind whistle from the windshield at speeds above 50 MPH. I got some wide blue painters tape and taped around the outside of the windshield to verify that the whistle was actually the windshield. It was. I then removed small sections of the tape to discover the source of the noise. Turned out to be on both sides of the windshield but not the top or bottom. A close inspection revealed that either the selling dealer or the factory had previously sealed along those edges with a clear windshield sealant. We purchased the coach when it was one year old. Guess over time the flexing of the coach caused the sealant to fail. After purchasing some small tubes of clear windshield sealant and resealing both sides, the noise went away.

That's what I think it is. But I'm going to have the installer fix it so I don't void any warranty.

To the OP, I don't think your windshield needs to be reinstalled, just the molding needs to be reset.

That's exactly where mine sounded like it was coming from and it ended up being the drivers window frame weep holes. I was not trying to get the discussion off track, just passing on MY personal experience with this problem. Just my 2 cents

I don't see where you are talking about the clips. I have a seal all the way around the window.
