Wind sensor woes.
When I purchased our unit years ago, the anemometer that retracts the Girard awning had been previously torn off the roof other than the base. From the remnant I deduced it was a Girard GC116I anemometer. I ordered and installed same, gave it a spin, and to my surprise, it worked! (No programming or pairing required). This summer, after a long trip on a hot windy day I found that the wind cup assembly had fallen off. I ordered another GC116I and installed it. Not so lucky this time. I have tried different pairing procedures. The GC116I and GC136 (motor controller) appear to connect, but the GC116I will not retract the awning.
I never did rely on the wind sensor, but now that I have bought a new one I would like it to work...
Any ideas?
Thanks
