Window day night shade

My window shades have valances around them, how do you take the blinds down? Cannot see how they are mounted. Thanks sounds stupid but dont want to tear anything up.

Mine are held up with a clip. Either 2, 3 or 4 clips, depending on how long the shade is. Look along the edge of your blinds right at the ceiling. It's sometimes hard to see. There should be a small flange sticking out where those clips are. Take a flat headed screw driver and push the flange up, and that should release that clip. Do it for each clip.
