Need advise on window shades! One of our shades is our 2006 Signature will not raise, it will move from open to close. What raises the shade? Some pointers please.

Are these blinds or shades? If they are manual type shades there is a spring that winds up internally. One end of the shade will have a flat tab that can turn. Insert that into the holder it goes (with the other end out ) and rotate the entire shade roller. You should feel spring tension building up as you rotate it, if not your turning the wrong way. After a little tension builds up place the end that's not in the holder back into the holder. Try to operate the shade, if it doesn't go up all the way take the stationary end out of the holder and rotate the shade a little more till it has enough tension to roll it up... Sounds confusing and hard to explain but if you fool with it a little you'll figure it out. Hope that helps.
Sorry , should have called them blinds. They lower, raise, open and close by electric. Now they are lowered, they will close open but will not raise like the others
