Windshield Sealant & Rear Brake Light Fixture

Couple of maintenance issues that I'll be working on while volunteering at Lake Mead NRA this winter and I need some direction:

1 - My MH has a split windshield and I am beginning to see some of the black 'sealant' dry out and peel away from the inside. Anyone familiar with an appropriate product to touch up the edges?

2 - The '3rd' brake light located just under the rear window of our MH is starting to lose some of the lights within the lens (there are 10-15 small lights within a sealed bar). Where might I find a part number to order a replacement light bar?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Our Dutch Star has done the same thing. They're LED and the only "cure" is to replace the whole thing and that's about $100 the last I checked. Been looking for other lights but haven't found one that's oriented the same way.

I also have an 05 Knight that had the 3rd brake light losing some LED's and was able to find it at nwrvsupply.com for $39.95. It is their part number LED28GT2. It had a perfect fit.

Thanks,

Tim

My glass guy uses black urethane caulk to seal the windshields.

Some third brake lights have a number on the body. Pull hte light out and look for that number. Ebay has some at times..........may have yours.
