Windshield wiper switch mod.

My 1998 HR Imperial windshield wipers do not work on high and low. Checked the master controller and determined it was bad. Problem is they don't make the SM206 master controller and cannot find salvage. I am thinking of just adding a universal wiper switch. Has anybody done this and what did you use and how did you wire it in? Thanks, Mark

That is what I used to determine that my master controller was bad. They don't make them anymore nor can you find a salvage one of which I would not be sure it would work. So I trying to see if anyone added a universal windshield wiper switch.

Yes, I had used the VIP troubleshooting guide and determined that the SM206 mastercontroller was not working properly per guide. Can't find new or used. I just now got my windshield wipers working by wiring in a Peterbuilt windshield wiper switch. I spliced into the existing wiring harness before it connects to master controller, then unplugged the wiper function wires to the controller and wipers work now.
