I'm on my second year with a Wineguard Traveler on dish network. I bought it off amazon, installed myself and have had zero issues with it (knock on wood).

I feel your pain trying to deal with Winegard. I won't get into my issues here as I have a couple of other posts on my dealings with them.

At east they didn't ask you to send the whole assembly back for repair. I have talked to a couple of repair people who used to be Winegard dealers that quit selling their product because they are so difficult to deal with.
If I were in the market for a new system, Winegard would not be on my list as a supplier I can tell you.
A cable is not an expensive item. Save your self the agrivation and contact an independent service company.

When we took delivery of our 2018 Cornerstone the tech couldn't get the expected signal strength. The first thing they replaced was the LNB arm as it was visibly not straight. When the problem persisted he replaced the dish itself. Apparently it had been damaged during or before installation. You might try RF Mogul for a replacement. We had one on our previous coaches for three years w/o a problem.

I shall continue to purchase Wineguard products including my new portable automatic dish for when I park under the trees.

Sorry you had problems, glad I did a better result.

Cheers
Ditto! I have used Winegard tech support and left messages when there is a wait and they always called me back and resolved my issues. Sorry for your problems.

I have to say we have had nothing but great service and great performance from our Winegard Traveler. Usually our signal strength numbers are 98 or higher although it still works great with numbers in the 70's in those places that are challenging, i.e. Alaska, Yukon. And they have always gotten back to me on the phone with my problems, worked through the issue and sent parts each time. I have had a Traveler since 2008 and have had very few problems. Just my 2 cents.

I am surprised! After many support calls and warranty support over the years. They provided me with new parts twice and I bought my first unit from Amazon. Not a lawyer but I don't see anywhere on their information that allows them to deny warranty support.
Option also with Amazon is to work with/through them to their seller for warranty work...up to and including your packing it up an sending it back for a refund.

Our Dynasty came with a dome. Wouldn't work anytime it rained slightly. Oregon ( Don?) installed a Motosat as at that time it was considered the best. Designed by engineers that thought everyone was an engineer. After fighting with 30 minute waits to find a signal I gave up. Motosat went out of business. Have had a Winegard for 4 years. Flawless. Most users are very happy!
