If you want to safe your wiper blades when not in use, buy a couple of tennis balls and stick them under the wiper arm, so the blade doesn't make contact with the windshield. This will keep the wiping edge of the blade straight.

Yup. That, or a 2" to 3" length of pool noodle under the arm. Many have pieces of pool noodle left over from making slide-edge-bumpers. Also, wiper covers or lengths of pipe insulation to cover the blades, protect them from hardening under UV light.

I have a 99 Bounder, with wiper blades tattach with two bolts. Couldn't find blades that would fit, couldn't find adapters, couldn't find "refills." What I finally did was buy complete new blades in the right length (less than $10 each), took out the blade parts and slipped in into the old blade holders.

Best regards,

Hack
