Wiper buttons dead on 2003 Monaco smartwheel

I took my smartwheel cover off to see why my horn stopped working. It ended up being selinoid. But now my wiper and flasher buttons are dead! Seeking help from you amazing RV owners that always bail me out!

1st check fuses,. Then either module or clock spring. Also plugin on module is known to melt or burn. Disconnect all power and reset module! Good luck!

There appears to be an enormous amount of information on the " Smartwheel " here in the archives at iRV2.

Perhaps search the archives here using the google search function at the top right of your page to ferret out problems similar to yours for a fix.

Happy Trails

I'd check the clock spring in the steering wheel. Had to replace ours because of cruse control failure. Wipers, cruse control, horn, are all controlled through the clock spring.

clockspring

Chet, before you changed the clockspring did "only" the cruise not engage, or other accessories, (lights, wipers, etc)?
Thanks, Jake

Thanks all! Took Smartwheel back apart. The right plugin was loose. All fixed!
