Wiring Diagram for '09 Camelot
We are broke down in Abilene, Tx with ABS/TCM diagnostic comm errors and failure messages. All gauges are cycling back and forth. Lone Star/Freightliner can't get to us until
Monday. Hoping to receive some suggestions on what to
look for and possible wiring diagrams.

Some Monacos have a problem with comm failures. Often the problem is in the wiring. The Deutch connectors can cause the problem. On mine the problem was in a wire bundle at the rear right side upper frame rail
I also cleaned all the grounds on the frame. Are your battery cables clean? Do you have full voltage? I wish I could recommend a good shop. Very difficult to find the problem. At say $140 an hour you could easily spend $3000 and still have the problem. One owner had a corroded fuse in the rear run box. There was an expert at Monaco but he no longer works there. The Cummins shop near the old Monaco factory in Oregon are reputed to be very good. Maybe it is something simple.

Go to the link in my signature - I have the diagrams you want.
I would also try rebooting - turn off power, disconnect batteries at the Disconnect switches, wait a few minutes and reconnect.

Bob, I'm sorry for you're trouble. NW RV Supply has several wiring diagrams, but I do not see a 2009 Camelot listed.
You could give them a call to see if they have something close.

You realize the Camelot is built on a Roadmaster chassis. I'd be surprised if Freightliner would be able to help you.
Usually when all the gauges cycle, it's a common ground problem.

Lone Start Trucking was able to work on coach today. They replaced
the TCM. After a 20 mile test and then applying brakes, the instrument panel gauges started spinning, warning lights flashing.
LST wants to check the ABS module. Does anyone know where it is
located exactly? New batteries installed. Alternator putting out 14V.
Any suggestions on what else to check would be appreciated.

On my 03 Windsor the ABS module is a small black thing in the front elect
bay outside under the drivers feet .
I think I remember a reset push button that sometime needs to be cleaned
with some elect spray or at least pushed a few times but that was because
the light would not go out IIRCC .

I think the abs module may be in the ceiling in one of the basement bays. Did they look for trouble codes? Sounds like you might end up with a huge bill and no fix. Did they disconnect all power and then reconnect. I still think it is your canbus system. I think it is a j1939. He needs to look for a problem in the wiring. A loose connector. Bad fuse. Rusty ground. Even low voltage. Are your battery cables super clean?

Thanks for help so far. Module not in front elec. bay. Will check/remove ceiling panels in bays tomorrow. Any idea which bay? Looking for ABS module and J1939 connector to trace connections on wire harness. New batteries, cables good. Not sure where canbus is that you are referring to. Thanks for input.

You have a Bendix ABS system. Your ABS system is covered on page 216 of your owners manual. You can check diagnostic codes using the ABS diagnostic button.
Download a soft copy here:
https://www.monacocoach.com/rv-owners-manuals
The ABS Diagnostic test button is located above the J1939 diagnostic plug under the dash to the left of the steering wheel.
Picture on page 203 of your owners manual.
On our coach, the ABS module is attached to the ceiling of the main storage bay near the Allison TCU. They are covered by a gray felt covered plywood cover.
I agree with moisheh. You probably have a bad ground. I would add another ground wire from the main instrument panel ground to the chassis and see if the issue is resolved. If not, then start checking all the J1939 bus connectors and cleaning them.
The reason I say this is because you say ALL the instruments and warning lights started flashing, not just the ABS light.
Best of luck!

Although you cab have a bad connection anywhere I would check all the exterior deutsch connectors
They are grey and triangular. Hard to find them as the harnesses are all bundled together
Sometimes Monaco wrapped them with electrical tape. One owner found a broken pin in the connector. The wiring for the connectors are very small. 18 or 20 ga. O was told thzt a common bad one is along the rh frame rail at the rear. Close to the rear run bay. Up high. Another one is above the turbo behind the air filter. There are frame grounds on the rh frame rail close to the batteries. One is in the wheel well. Check the engine to frame grounds. The wiring for the dash annunciator and the gauges goes into the left hand armrest. They should open up the dash and check wires to that armrest. Maybe run a temporary ground wire. You can see that this can get expensive. Takes a really good electrical tech. Might be better taking it somewhere else. Call Source engineering in Oregon and see if thet know someone. Or maybe call the guys at Elite for a recommendation. When truck has this problem they often just install a new harness. But they do not have miles of wiring. Soryy I cannot be of more help. Start withe the simple stuff.

What are the "comm errors"? My 2007 Signature has Actia gauges which will windshield wiper and flash all of the warning lights when the Actia control module goes bad. Is it something like that?
This is the Actia control module behind the instrument panel. The round connectors are for 1/4" air line.
