Wiring for auto entry step

In the process of taking out the old carpet in our 01 Monaco Diplomat 40DP we have disconnected the wires that control the steps automatically opening and closing. My husband spent an hour trying to trace back the wiring so that he could connect it and can't find the rest of the connection to what is in the picture.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

He said this is to the magnet to the door??

I'm not sure what Step manufacture you have in you coach (if you know, please say so). I have a Lippert Step manual and a Kwikee Step service manual. The Kwikee is too big to attach here (PM me with your e-mail address if you want that one).
Here is the Lippert. Hopefully the wiring diagram and pictures will help.

My coach has a "Entry Step" switch just inside the coach door. I would think that is where the wires go in your picture. The other wires feeding the Step itself (motor) come from underneath the coach.
