Ok...I know there seems to be a lot of "manly" topics here in the last few posts ...so I just have to ask...
Does anyone burn candles in their rigs?

Yes.... BUT.... I have learned (living in Arizona) that it is not a good idea to leave them in the coach....

Mama, for once I ain't gonna blow smoke up yer skirt. We tried the candle thing and found that the soot produced will, over time, collect on the ceiling. Donna bought one of those little coffee-cup-warmer looking things with a scented wax container and it seems to do very well. If it's just romantic mood you're trying to achieve, you can get the scents in Dewalt, Proto and Craftsman for a few bucks more (oops, how did that "smoke" slip in here).

We don't burn candles, but my sister got us some battery operated candles that are quite nice. They have a vanilla scent and the batteries seem to operate them for a long time. This is the website for them:
CandleImpressions

Hope this helps.

Hmm.. I have to say that sounds a little scary to me. I like the battery candle idea.

Hi 'Mama -

We also use battery-operated candles (sort of a contradiction in terms, I think) for the ambience. And harking back to my college days (what little I remember of them ), we found some lightly-scented inscense for when needed.

Ditto 'Bama's comment. I used to leave a real candle burning on the mantle in the stick-house as a memorial to SherKhan, but soon found it left a soot-trail up the fireplace and on the ceiling. Extremely tough to clean off. I can only imagine what it'd do in the coach long-term.

I know I went to college because a couple of years ago I found my diploma in a box in the basement. But I sure don't remember what I did there. What disturbs me more, is that I don't remember what I did in the Navy either, and I know (think) I had some GREAT times in those days - especially during one particular Mediterranean tour...
