Another ZEP Question

I have been reading all of the posts about the ZEP Wax treatments and I would like to try it on our 2004 Georgetown. The only thing that makes me question it is that the bottom of the coach (up to the top of the bin doors) has really good paint and clear coat that shines already. Everything above that it white fiberglass with typical vinyl graphics on it though and it is faded as you might expect from an'04.

I'm concerned that the TSP wash will run down on this paint and cause problems...will it or no?

Also, if this isn't a problem should I do this painted section with the ZEP as well, or should I just do all of the white fiberglass and side decals and leave the painted section alone?

Any thoughts/suggestions/ experience would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David

Don't waste either Your Time or Money putting that stuff on Your Rig! Get a professional wax and polish job done !

I applied ZEP to My 1998 Dutch Star Three Years ago and thought initially that it was wonderful! Easy to apply and the shine was fantastic!

Did all the prep work and was fastidious about it!

Next I tackled My Classic 1998 Correct Craft Ski Nautique Competition Tow Boat...What a Shine ... it looked Almost like New until the Sun and Water did a number on the Horizontal Deck Areas!

Then I started looking at the Dutch Star and realized that it wasn't holding up very well either!

Never would I ever recommend using this product on Any Fibreglas ,Gelcoated or Painted Vehicle whether it Drives !Floats or Flys the Skies!

It was intended for use on Floors and that's where it belongs!

Wow, I'm surprised. Most of what I have read about this stuff says that it is the best thing since sliced bread. I guess there are two sides to everything. Thanks for your suggestion.

I just noticed that I posted this on the Monaco Owners forum. This is my first post and I missed that. Sorry, I will repost on the general topics forum.

Thanks again

David

And the same goes for combat boots. Shoe polish and spit.

I was pleased to pay $160 for a hand wax on wax off with Meguiar's in the RGV and that included using my 303 on all roof vent covers a/c covers, tires etc.
