2004 Peterson Excel 33RSE
Recently purchased a 2004 Peterson Excel 33RSE. We have been replacing a few things like the faucets and backsplash and thinking of replacing the carpet with vinyl flooring in the future. The problem we recently came across was when we extended the slide out where the dining room table, fridge, and entertainment system is and found ball bearings on the ground outside. Upon further inspection, we found the ball bearing on the left side had broken. We are looking for parts list or where to find the parts we need to replace and having a difficult time. Hoping someone here can point us in the right direction or have had the same issue. I have attached a picture so you can see what part I am talking about.

If the Bearing in the other end of the Glide Out is intact, or the Bearings on the other Glide Outs are intact,
Remove the Bearing, and take it to a local Bearing Supply House, or
Measure the inner bore and the outer diameter, and look up on the web, a supply house like:
Grainger: https://www.grainger.com/
Fastenal: https://www.fastenal.com/
Motion Industries: https://www.fastenal.com/
You will have to take the weight off of the bearing by jacking up the Glide Out Support just enough to free up the Bearing.
Good Luck.
Tim

Contact the Excel Service Center in Smith Center, Kansas or RV Sales in Moriarty, NM. They will know what part you need and ship to you. Both are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Tim,
Thank you for the information. We are going to be getting the original ball bearing out and searching the websites you suggested for the part we need. I appreciate your response.
Thank you

DRFIFE,
Thank you for the contact information. We reached out to the Excel Service Center in Kansas via instant messenger, emai, and phone call and unfortunately cannot seem to get any response. We will try Sales in New Mexico and hopefully get a better response. Thank you for your help.

If you've on Facebook join the Excel Owners Group. Very active. The Excel Service Center and RV Sales participate there.

DrFife,
We did receive a phone call back from the Excel Service Center and they were able to locate the parts we need and also provide us with some further information on the steps to take to replace them. They mailed out the parts to us yesterday!
Thank you for the information.

Missing outside bottom bolt of slide out mechanism
Recently we noticed the left side of the slide out where our dining room table sits is missing the bottom bolt. We are not sure if when we undo the adjustable slide out bolts for up and down if we are able to replace the bottom bolt by lifting the slide out up this lowering the plate. Is this something we can repair or do we need to have a professional do it?
