Bob..... If you want a quad dr ref, you, of course give up the sliding pantry. In the bedroom, the slide box is already made to accomodate a king bed. Basically, one gives up very little. This is a great floorplan that I haven't had to make many changes on from the prototype to the production models.

Where can I get that nifty soap dispenser shown in the utility bay. Sure would come in handy for the hubby when we inevitably have to dump! Surely I can fit it in our "Old 2007"! I like the recessed lights too, maybe we can fit some of those in too!

Bryan,

When can we expect to see something on the PI website? Basic price, weights, length etc? Excel has been near the top of our purchase list but we didn't see a floor plan that suited our needs - until now. This could be it!

John... We just had our photo shoot two weeks ago and are still in the assembly stage of our 2009 brochure. I expect our brochure to be out by the end of June. Then the website will be updated shortly thereafter.

Prior to our brochure, if you need any information at all, please call us at 800-368-3759.
Thanks, Bryan

Sue... FYI I have also seen those soap dispensers at WalMart, Menards and Lowes. We have a three chamber one in the shower, they work good and no slippery bars sliding around.

My DW and I are going to purchase a 5er in two months for FT. And we have been researching our purchase for over two years. The result is that we have narrowed it down to two different manufacturers and models - an Excel Limited or a NuWa CE. Both seem to meet our high standards for FT. Some floor plans are similar and we can find floor plans with each which work for us. And I know that both companies give excellent after the purchase customer service. The Excel is heavier than the CE and might require a different TV. Since we are starting from scratch we are not limited to an existing TV. We have been to both factories and appreciate the detail and quality of each. So, why should I purchase the Limited Excel?

John,

This is a double post and I would prefer that responses be made to your new topic on the same subject.
Thanks,

John,

I understand. Sorry. I just couldn't find the original so added it to this string. Can you help me locate the first one. I'm pretty new to this.

Thanks,

John

Just saw our first Excel FW in Georgetown, TX at a dealer. I must say we have reviewed the NuWa before and really like the Excel better. With the 2009 models and the changes noted on this link will the shorter verisons of 33 ft have smiliar changes? With the price of hauling a unit around shorter doesn't mean less of the "wish list" - larger frig, king bed and W/D area. Just smaller kitchen and living area. I'll call today to get on the list for the 2009 brochure. I wish we could see more of the floorplans in south Texas. Wanna be's by 2009 - full timers to be.

Welcome to the "Excel Owner's Forum" 'Shelia W.' and we hope to have you as a member of our family soon! That's what you get when you buy an Excel 5th Wheel, you buy into an extended family of great folks. Peterson Industries has one the best customer service facilities in the industry. If you're able, take the factory tour and see the quality/pride first-hand.

Highturn,

I see that you are not alone in choosing a 3500 or F350 (1 ton) to tow a 35' Excel. Can I safely pull something that heavy with a 1 ton?
