Have you filled the black tank to the point the 1/2 bath toilet "burps" when flushing the toilet.
That is a full black tank.

Maybe gross, but it works.
I bet his tank has never been more than 2/3 full.
Th SeeLevel gauge on my EL Winslow works great. But would revert to the burp method if it failed.

Burp is way too full for me. On our first Excel, the old panel lights weren't too dependable. I could tell by the sound/tone of the water entering the black tank.

Chief is right, none of them are accurate and Doc is right. The burp is the absolute final sign. And Rocking is right, it is gross and after dealing with these things for a while you can tell from the sound of the water entering the tank.
And all is right with the world.......

Yep, full
Yes, we have had "the burp" and so know they have been full. What type of gauge should I have installed so can trust the accuracy.

As we mentioned in the top ten must haves, the SeeLevel gauges which are an option on the Winslow (std. on Limited) are about the best you can get. They are far from perfect but are good at fairly accurate reading. Make sure you have an extra display gauge mounted in the utility center. rockin'

Sea level seems to work better then the probe type. But all can have inaccuracie problems. I know how long I can go before dumping @ about 3/4 full. I know by use and sound. Keeping ur probes clean is important. You can search threads to learn more about that.

Doc, I've been meaning to ask you.....I know you said you paid someone to do the install of the additional display, but do you know if they simply tied the wires into the existing system or ? rockin'

DW and I are looking at ordering the 37 SDF. With resd fridge. The single sink option in upper bath is a great idea for extra cabinet space. Might consider that, how much more would Peterson charge to make that mod?
The Rhino roof is an option. Did you all order it with the Rhino roof? I wanted to do a wait and see since it is new technology in a RV.
