Very cool!

So if I put a lift kit on a current 5th wheel, install a hitch on the top of an SUV... it is possible.

For what its built to be towed by, that's not a bad sized gooseneck.

It has the same water heater as the one in my camper .

Hmmm. I didn't know a VW Beetle was rated for towing. And I owned one myself around that time. But it was a convertible, so maybe they weren't rated the same.

I once watched a pickup pulling a 5er do a U turn (180) in a Texas town street. He rolled two tires off the rims in the process. Another result of under-inflation I guess. Of course that cannot happen with a single axle trailer as in the video.
A 360? What happens after the safety chains wrap around the ball hitch? You'll notice the ones in the video are cut off.
One would be a great conversation piece in a CG though.
