We are purchasing this model and we are concerned about having no slide topper on the entrance door slide with the awning. We are told that the awning prohibits the installation of a topper on that slide. We would like some feedback from others about the necessity of a slide topper. Thanks.

I have a 2013 Excel Winslow 34IKE without slide awnings.

My previous trailer had slide awnings.

I thought I would miss them. I have not.

One less thing to repair or replace.

You will be fine without slide awnings.

we own a 2014 37sdf and do not have slide toppers on any of the slides. we have never had toppers on any of our fifth wheels and have not had any problems. just be sure to check the roof for debris before running them in.
